SEPTEMBER

WEEK - 1      Labor Day Honoring the laborer and his work
Friendliness Eager to share myself with others
WEEK - 2 Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur Jewish New Year and Jewish Holy Day "Day of Atonement"
Obedience doing what I am told with a happy spirit; obeying leadership; submitting to proper authority
WEEK - 3       Kindness being sympathetic, tenderhearted, gentle, friendly, generous

OCTOBER

WEEK -1 Courtesy respectful words and ways with others; politeness;
WEEK - 2 Columbus Day Honoring Christopher Columbus and Company
Initiative the characteristic of originating new ideas or methods; ability to think and act without being urged; enterprise
WEEK - 3 Reliability being trustworthy at all times; dependable; to be trusted; worthy of confidence
WEEK - 4 Discernment able to see things as they really are; to discriminate; to distinguish
WEEK - 5 Attentiveness listening with the ears, eyes and heart
HALLOWEEN the night before All Saints Day

NOVEMBER

WEEK -1 All Saints Day honoring all of the saints of the catholic church
Election Day responsible citizens exercing their privilege of voting
WEEK -2 Thriftiness wise use of what I have; economical management
Veteran's Day honoring those who have fought to defend our freedom
WEEK - 3 Helpfulness ready to serve at any time..
Grandparents Day honoring our grandparents by sharing our day with them
WEEK - 4 Thankfulness being grateful and saying so
Thanksgiving Day proclaimed by the President of the United Staes as a day of thanks to God (see proclamation)

DECEMBER

WEEK - 1 Patience calmly tolerating delay, confusion, etc; able to wait calmly, with a happy spirit
Hanuhha(h) or Chanukah Jewish Festival of Lights hnoring the rededication of the temple by Judas "Maccabeus" in 165 BC
WEEK - 2 Generosity sharing what I hae with a happy spirit. Gracious; not mean; magnanimous; unselfish...
Pearl Harbor Day remembering those who died at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii at the beginning ofUS World War II
WEEK - 3 Faith strong belief or trust in someone or something that is worthy of strong confidence
Winter Solstice shortest daylight hours in Northern Hemisphere; beginning of winter
WEEK - 4 Courage meeting opposition with confidence; the attitude or esponse of facing and dealing with anything recognized as dangerous, difficult, or painful insted of withdrawing form it; the quality of being fearless or brave; valor, pluck; fortitude
Christmas celebration of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth who claimed to be the promised Jewish Christ (The Messiah) who was to lead Israel to freedom
WEEK - 5 Eagerness keenly desiring; wanting very much; being excited about doing a task
New Years Eve a time to reflect on the past and look forward to the future

JANUARY

WEEK - 1 Orderliness a place for everything; everything in its place
New Year's Day a fresh start, new beginnings
WEEK - 2 Tolerance accepting others even if they are different.  Freedom from bigotry or negative prejudice, an enduirng or ability to endure
Marting Luther King, Jr. Day hoping for equality and equal opportunity for all citizens
WEEK - 3 Tenderhearted easily moved to pity; sympathetic; feeling the joys and hurts of others
WEEK - 4 Thoroughness completing a job all the way

FEBRUARY

WEEK - 1 Fairness being open; frank; honest; equal; just; equitable; impartial; unprejudiced; treating others equally
WEEK - 2 Lincoln's Birthday "...one nation under God, indivisible..." - honoring a strong leader during difficult time.
  Love Agape: meeting another's needs unselfishly; doing what is best for them whether it makes them happy or not
St. Valentines Day celebrating love, honor Saint Valentine, martyr
WEEK -3 Honesty when the word agrees with the deed: truthful words and ways; the whole truth...

MARCH

WEEK 1 Encouragement bringing hope and cheer to others

APRIL

WEEK 1 Forgiveness to give up resentment against or the desire to punish; to stop being angry with; to pardon, cancel, overlook, release
  Good Friday, Passover, Easter remembering the death of Jesus of Nazareth, remembering the miraculous Exodus of the Jews from ancient Egypt, celebraing the Resurrection Event
WEEK 2 Hope a desire for some good, accompanied with an expectation of obtaining it, a belief that is obtainable. Confidence in a future event; the highest degree of well founded expectation of good...
WEEK 3 Tact being able to say or do the right thing at the right time...

MAY

WEEK 1 Self-Confidence having the knowledge of your own immense value because you're one of God's most special creations

JUNE
