ADOPT A SCHOOL

Schools across the nation are desperate for help from their local communities. Some churches have responded to the call, supporting schools in various ways and reestablishing the bond between the school and the church. Through Adopt-A-School programs, many churches have helped to provide special attention, instruction, and care to thousands of boys and girls.

You and your congregation can also influence local schools in positive ways. Take the first steps, and Adopt A School!

Drawing from over 40 years of experience, Christian Educators Association International is ready to assist your church in making a meaningful contribution to education in your community. One special way is through Corporate Membership, which helps your church minister to and equip Christian teachers in public schools. Goals

  • To reestablish the bond between the church, home, and school.

  • To give students the special attention, coaching, tutoring, and support that overworked teachers and school staff are hard-pressed to provide.
  • To increase the number of released time programs organized by local churches.
  • To help elevate the state of education by being active in students' lives, schools, and school districts.
  • To provide positive, Christ-like role models for students.
  • To be salt and light in the public school, influencing students, teachers, and administrators alike.
