THE NEXT 3 YEARS IN A NUTSHELL :

2002-2003 –

We alternate between lunch and evening meetings on Tuesday. We had a full band in the Auditorium in the evening and in our gymnasium at lunch.

Lunch meetings average attendance is 125-150 with some meetings having more than 250 in attendance. Two outside bands from California come to lead worship on our campus at our lunch meetings.

Evening meetings are longer and more substantial and average 50-75 in attendance.

2003-2004 –

Move to mostly Monday nights in the Lecture Hall w/ one lunch meeting per month. Evening meetings from 6:30-8:00pm with worship, games, skits, student speakers and guest pastors teaching – average attendance is 60-80 students.

We start Leadership Discipleship where the Leadership Team meets for 1 to 1½ hours PRIOR to our group meeting to grow in their FAITH AND WALK w/ Christ. Went through four book studies and a series on how to share our faith.

C.C.C. has become part of our ‘school culture’ – announcements, flyers, included in principal’s mailers home, and representing SMHS at district events .

2004-2005 –

Same format as last year. First meeting on Monday night 8/23.

More than 120+ students in attendance. Several meetings have had more than 140 students in attendance including our last meeting of 2004 where nationally known illusionist Andre Kole used his talents to share the Gospel. CCC’s vision grows beyond SMHS and we begin to intentionally ‘plant’ clubs at other schools.

Leadership Discipleship is continuing to help students grow in their walk through book studies and time in God’s Word. Leadership is planning a missions trip for this summer.

C.C.C. continues to become more a part of our ‘school culture’. CCC students work freshmen orientation, etc .

CCC begins at four other high schools . We invited students from youth groups to come to CCC meetings to ‘catch the vision’. Groups have formed and are seeking approval at four other west valley high schools.
