CEAI Members Receive Discounts
at New Creation Museum
The Creation Museum presents a unique and unparalleled experience, a walk through time portraying significant, life-altering events of the past, illuminating the effects of biblical history on our present and future world.
CEAI members have a new benefit with your membership. Effective April, 2008, CEAI members and their immediate household (children & spouse) receive a 50% admission discount when visiting the Creation Museum in northern Kentucky. The Creation Museum is world’s foremost museum for telling the story of creation from a Biblical perspective. When entering the admissions area, simply show your CEAI membership card to receive the discount. The museum is less than 1 year old and has experienced large volumes of attendees since its grand opening in May, 2007. Having been through the museum two times, I have left with an invigorated spirit regarding the creation of our world. Covering 65,000 square feet, each of the exhibit areas gives you accurate information on each of the over 70 different tour areas. The tour includes God's creation before the fall, man's fall, the flood, the ark, life after the fall, and much more. Some of the stops feature animated dinosaurs, animated Bible characters and an actual walk through ancient times.
If you have ever wondered about the construction of Noah’s ark, you will be excited to experience a fifty foot long by three stories tall, to-scale replica of part of the ark. The ark exhibit will give you a new perspective for God’s design of the ark. The scenery authentically recreates ancient times. After completing the tour, the planetarium provides a dynamic view of the created universe from a unique perspective. A theater provides ‘lively’ seats that allow you to experience a classroom setting of science teaching. You will walk through caves, see ancient man in action, observe how archaeologist unearth ancient artifacts and finally arrive at one of the best parts of the museum…the book store.
With the many attacks on the Biblical story of God’s creation, you may feel ill-equipped from time to time. The book store contains excellent materials written by Christian scientists and other professionals. This information will help you more accurately explain the Biblical worldview. DVDs, books, CDs and much more provide information for every age level. If you have an area that needs to be strengthened, the bookstore will provide materials to help.
Sitting on 50 acres, the outside grounds are also enjoyable to tour. The café has great meals that can be enjoyed inside or outside. If you are interested in setting up a tour to the museum, consider a trip that would include other teachers and make it a teacher’s field trip. If you have a group, call me and I will help arrange a time to speak with Creation Museum staff as part of your trip. You won’t be disappointed! Teaching Ambassador Fellowship
Program Description: Over the past six years, No Child Left Behind has increased accountability for student achievement in our nation's public schools—and no one knows this better than our nation's teachers. American public school teachers perform many vital roles in their classrooms and schools, but often lack the time and opportunities to serve as leaders beyond the local level. Teachers' daily experiences give them a distinctive, field-tested perspective on successful instructional and school improvement strategies that target the goals of No Child Left Behind. The U.S. Department of Education will use the Teaching Ambassador Fellowship to tap into this knowledge and experience, and to give outstanding teachers an opportunity to contribute to—and learn more about—the greater debate about education in America.
Mission: The Teaching Ambassador Fellowship empowers teacher leaders from our nation's public schools to contribute their knowledge and experience to the national dialogue about public education, and provides them an opportunity to learn more about education policy.

With over 1,000,000 copies given to graduates, ConGRADulations! is the #1 GRAD gift of this decade. New and improved for the Class of 2008, ConGRADulations! is a Music CD, a Media DVD , a Resource Website and (brand new for this year) a 48 Page Graphic Gift Book. Your seniors will be encouraged as the songs and videos prepare them for the biggest transition of their young lives..
The Music CD
Sure, video has become very important to a GRAD's life, but music still has that special way of communicating deep to their hearts. On the Music CD, your grads will find 13 songs from today’s most popular Christian artists. These songs can be the soundtrack for your grads’ real life “video.”
The Gift Book
The Gift Book is the “Brand New for 2008” addition to ConGRADulations! It’s 48 pages of amazing graphics, words of wisdom, artist advice, grad encouragement, song lyrics, and much more. It’s got a page for you to write a personal greeting to your grads (if you want). It holds the Music CD and Media DVD in the front and back covers. It’s the amazing graphic Gift Book, and in addition to having powerful Biblical content, it is a LOT of fun.
The Media DVD
From the moment the Class of 2008 first opened their eyes, they’ve had a camcorder staring back at them. Birthdays, holidays, sports events, and vacations were all captured on video and in photographs. YouTube has taken this homemade video phenomenon to another level. What better way than the “video mode” for grads to share with each other?
The Media DVD is loaded with personal videos to the Class of 2008: from fellow classmates, from previous graduates, from the top names in Christian music. All are offering their best wishes and words of wisdom at this major life transition time. The Media DVD is chock -full of other resources: grad advice books, a year in review video, an online Bible and a ton of ministry-based websites.
Flunked the Movie
Results of national and international educational-aptitude tests from the past few years show that the average American student is unable to achieve high academic standards, nor compete with other students worldwide who are achieving.

GoGirlGo! Ambassador Team Awards
History of the Program
Teaming up with the GoGirlGo! National Campaign that is aiming to get one million inactive girls to participate in physical activity and keep another one million currently active girls from dropping out of physical activity, Gatorade and the Women’s Sports Foundation are supporting another year of the GoGirlGo! Ambassador Team Awards. The awards program is designed to inspire teams to help fight the disturbing physical and psychological health risks affecting America’s youth. Having fun with fitness is a key element to getting girls physically active. Teams must lead their own team project that will get girls in their communities physically active and submit a detailed essay telling us about the project. A total of $50,000 in grants will be awarded in recognition of the outstanding efforts of 20 teams throughout the country.

Abstinence Education: Myths and the Truth
Abstinence education advocates believe the healthiest choice for a non-married youth is to remain sexually abstinent. Presenting the highest health standard remains the goal of any public school health education; abstinence education is no exception. Parents, not state or school administrators, have the right to determine if their teen is in need of additional medical information and services.
