WHEREAS, schools are far more than buildings or institutions, they are vital partners in educating, nurturing, training and developing discipline in the students of today.

WHEREAS, educators play a significant role in educating, influencing and motivating the students of America, preparing them to be responsible, knowledgeable and successful citizens.

WHEREAS, parents are the first and foremost educators of their children, essential to their formal education and partners in the success of their local schools.

WHEREAS, students are America’s most precious resource, and the future success of our Nation depends heavily on their success today.

WHEREAS, all citizens are impacted by the investment in, and the results of the schools of America.

Now Therefore, I ____________, Governor of ________________, hereby proclaim September, as IAM4SCHOOLS MONTH

Throughout the state of _________________, urging our citizens to seek out opportunities to support education and our schools. We will pursue avenues of encouragement and improvement beginning this month and continuing throughout the year.
