The Day of Purity is a day when youth can make a public demonstration of their commitment to remain sexually pure, in mind and actions. Today's culture encourages youth to become sexually active at a young age and to experiment with sexual preferences.

Prayer: Lord, I want to completely trust You in all my ways today. Please help me listen to You and walk in Your priorities and plans. Thank You. Amen.

Jesus Was Like You

Scripture: It was necessary for Jesus to be in every respect like us. . . . He then could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people. Hebrews 2:17NLT

Do you ever catch yourself thinking that you are unique-- uniquely poor, or uniquely awkward, or uniquely ungifted?

This passage has something special for you then. Jesus was like us in all ways. He was successful in all He did because of His complete trust in God and complete commitment to God's priorities. In that sense, He was different. But in all physical and mental ways, He was just as limited as we. The converse, then, is also true. YOU are in every respect like Jesus was, especially when you decide to completely trust God in all ways, and completely commit to God's priorities at all times.
