IF ONLY I COULD BE AWARE

Prayer: Lord, may we remember today that You are with us. May we be peaceful and kind. Amen.

Scripture: I have shown you in every way by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. Acts 20:35a NKJV

We are medicine in the classroom.

Occasionally we might experience a slip of the tongue or suffer momentary amnesia about Whose we are, and Who our true Evaluator is. When we do, we need to repent.

If I could only be aware
Of the Special audience sitting there
Unseen, unheard but listening still
To see if I will do His will
I’d watch my tone, sweeten each word.
I’d not repeat mean things I’ve heard
I’d shower down blessings wherever I go
My speech would be measured,
My wrath would be slow
My words would give life and convey love
For people below and God above
God’s own fragrance would waft through the air
If I could just remember He’s there.
