HOW MUCH GOD CARES

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for the quiet beauty You send. May I be aware today. Amen.
Scripture: If God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won’t He more surely care for you? Matthew 6:30 NLT
I suspect we can become too negative these days. We overlook the most beautiful things that our loving God has created for us to enjoy.
I was studying a wild flower we found growing in a high meadow in the mountains. No one was around to see these flowers. No one had planted them. They just grew at the behest of the Father and we happened upon them one day. They were small but their beauty was captivating. Alone in a miles long stretch, they could be easily spotted for there was little else to compete with their beauty.
Perhaps that is a problem we face as Christians today. We put too much into our lives that competes with the very beauty of God. We don’t realize we are awash in a sea of ugliness and fail to notice the still quiet beauty that God sends to remind us of how much He cares and loves us.
