Prayer: May I know today how much You love me, Father, and may I share Your great love with someone else. Thank You. Amen.
Scripture: Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill you. They can only kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Not even a sparrow, worth only half a penny, can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. How precious do you feel these days?? Sometimes not very precious I suspect. We are taking our sense of self-worth from the wrong direction. The world and its system can never make us feel loved, cherished, appreciated, no matter how much we long for it. We will never be satisfied by anything the ‘world’ has to offer. Companies and organizations are never going to be able to really ‘satisfy’ the people who serve in them. Only our Lord–God who created everything– only He can satisfy. Only He truly loves us, no one else is capable of that level except those who have asked for His love to flow through them. God cherishes all about His creation. And we are the apex of what He created. He cherishes us most of all. Enjoy this day as a ‘cherished-one’ who is most loved by God Himself.
