IN GOD WE TRUST
October 12, 2020

Prayer: Lord, I trust you. In whatever is going on in my life today, I choose to trust you wholeheartedly in the middle of it. I pray that you would use my life of trusting you to show others who you are.

Scripture: In God I trust and am not afraid. What can man do to me? Psalm 56:11 NIV

The official motto of the United States is “In God We Trust.” How many of those signs do you see in your school? It is legal and appropriate to post and teach our national motto to the next generation. Look on our paper money and coins and you will find “In God We Trust” also. More than posting, mentioning or referring to this motto, what does it say to us as Christian educators? No matter what obstacles we face, whatever difficulties confront us in our daily school lives, there is nothing that man can bring against us that is bigger than our Great God of promises. Let us trust Him wholeheartedly and praise Him for His love for our brothers and sisters in the public schools for the good of all our students.

Quote for the Day: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. Robert Frost
