BE STILL AND KNOW
February 02, 2021
Prayer: Father, today I choose to be still and know that you are God. Open up my ears to hear your voice as I quiet myself in your presence.
Scripture: He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10 NIV
Being exalted eternally is reserved for God and His incredible coming, but did you know that educators are in an exalted position? As a member of this highly regarded profession, we must uphold ourselves in the way we conduct ourselves, the way we speak to others, and the way we walk our walk. In the public schools, educators are disallowed from praying in front of the room, yet we maintain the First Amendment right to pray privately or with our peers. In order to establish and maintain our high calling, we need prayer. We need His help as we represent Him. Let us find time in the school day to be still and know that He is God.
Quote for the Day: Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving. Albert Einstein
