MONDAY MORNING SHINING

Prayer: We need You today, Oh Lord. Please be with us.

Lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other’s faults because of your love. Always keep yourselves united with the Holy Spirit and bind yourselves together with peace. Ephesians 4:1-3 NLT
This is merely the beginning of our work week, but I have heard some colleagues mention how “tired” they feel already. But “tired” can be more than a sign of not enough sleep or rest. “Tired” can indicate an attitude.
A tired attitude is not fun to be around, but God has a different plan for you and for me. He does not want us to be tiresome around others. He instills us with His nature when we permit it. And His nature is energizing, restorative, and healing. Not only does His nature empower us from within and strengthen us in all things, but His nature within us empowers and quickens those with whom we come into contact.
Ask the Lord to make this day a restorative and quickening day for you and for all those whose lives you will touch. Receive His peace. Be a channel for His grace. Be impacted by and impact others with His love.
