THOSE WHO WANT TO BE CHRIST’S DISCIPLES

Prayer: Dear Lord, We want to follow you and give up our plans to You. Amen.
Scripture: Anyone who wants to be my disciple must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me. John 12:26 NLT
Jesus had a few of these “who wants to be my disciple” types of statements, and they were very clear. If you dare call yourself a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, then you have relinquished all pretense to owning your own intentions, plans, preferences, desires, and practices.
You are committed to following the Lord according to HIS priorities, His Plans, His will, His preferences that He has in HIS love for you and others. So when things do not work out according to your plans and dreams, you can recognize that God is working His plan for you.
If you are walking daily according to all that you know from God’s Word (the scripture) then what happens is permitted by God and will ultimately bring Glory to God and bless others, drawing them to Him.
