TURN MY HEART

Prayer: Lord, I pray that You would turn my heart toward You and Your plans. I ask that You would direct my teaching today and that all I do would point to who You are. Amen.
Scripture: Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain. Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word. Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared. Psalm 119:36-38 NIV
The Lord allows us to make our plans, but He directs our steps. What a generous God we serve. He affords us the ability to plan our ways, yet intercedes on our behalf by directing our ways. Let’s take a look at our lesson plans. We are the ones who design our lessons, but what if we lifted each lesson up to Him before we planned it? It is a promise that He will direct our steps. Let’s do it! Pray, plan, and watch Him be the Director of our instruction.
