MOVING ON
June 10, 2021

Prayer: Father God, we let go of it all to follow your call. We forsake the building of our kingdoms to help protect and build your Son’s. Amen.

Scriptures: The righteous shall move onward and forward; those with pure hearts shall become stronger and stronger. Job 17:9 TLB

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified …for the Lord your God  goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6

As Jesus was speaking in a crowded house, his mother and brothers were outside, wanting to talk with him. When someone told him they were there, he remarked, “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?” He pointed to his disciples. “Look!” he said, “these are my mother and brothers.” Then he added, “Anyone who obeys my Father in heaven is my brother, sister, and mother!” Matthew 12:46-50 TLB

However, as it is written:“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” the things God has prepared for those who love him. I Cor. 2:9

Jesus
is moving us.

To our home, friends, profession, and possessions we are not to cling,
but to His hands and heart
where we will learn with Him to dance and sing
while making a new start.

We let go of everything
as we dance and sing.
We hold on only to Him
as He takes us where we’ve never been.
We learn to fly on the Spirit’s wind
to places we’ve never seen, heard about or
imagined.

Father God, we let go of it all
to follow your call.
We forsake the building of our kingdoms
to help protect and build your Son’s.

Jesus asks us again,
“Who are My family and who are My friends?
Who is My mother, father, sister and brother?
They are all who follow Me and truly love
the lost, poor, sick and one another.
They are those who sit beside Me,
stop all their vain striving, and just be.”

Jesus tells us,
“Fear not for I will always be with you
in this place where I AM leading you that is new.
With peace, hope, faith and trust, take My hand.
Let me lead in this dance to your promised land.
Can’t you see that I am before you on my knees.
My beloved ones, trust Me.
Come with joy and follow Me.”
