A THIRSTY SOUL LONGING TO BE QUENCHED

Prayer: We declare openly that we need You today and this week, O Lord. Please fill our hearts with living water and life abundantly from You. Thank You. Amen.
Scripture: You are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. Psalm 63:1 NLT
To do something in earnest or earnestly suggests continuing effort with intent and focus. How much have you focused on God this day? Why not intently focus on His Holy Spirit right now? Why not welcome Him into your planning for this day and seek His will ahead of all else you plan to do.
Has your soul thirsted for the Lord this day? If you are in relationship with Him through Faith in Jesus Christ, then you need not long and yearn for He is already there within you. You merely need to attend to Him. But if your spiritual life is like that parched and weary land mentioned by the Psalmist, then you have an opportunity to quench your thirsting soul forever with the Living Water Himself.
Turn to faith in Christ and release your priorities to Him.
I pray this day is among the most blessed of your year so far.
“. . .lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other’s faults because of your love. Always keep yourselves united with the Holy Spirit and bind yourselves together with peace” (Eph. 4:1-3)
