AMAZED
August 23, 2021

Prayer: Oh Lord!!  We are watching for the amazing things You will be doing!! We pray for our unsaved relatives, friends, co-workers, and students who need to understand what Jesus did for them. Amen.

Scripture: Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.” Joshua 3:5 NIV

Today God is still doing amazing things among us. God has blessed me personally, my family and our ministry in ways I could have never hoped or dreamed. I find myself amazed by how much He cares for me; how He takes care of my needs and many times my desires. He amazes me in the beauty of this world, in the opportunities He provides, and in His forgiveness that cleanses me white as snow.

How has God taken your breath away lately? Do you wake up each morning giddy with anticipation of the amazing things God will do today? When you pray do you seek amazing answers? Have you dedicated your classroom to Him this year? Have you prayed over each student’s name or even gone to sit and pray at their desk? Are you watching for amazing things or just hoping to get through another year?

Let me encourage you to consecrate (set apart, purify) yourself and your classroom. Dedicate yourself and all that will be accomplished in your room to His glory, and prepare to be amazed by God this year.

Dear Kathy! You are blessed and in turn bless us with your love of Christ. Thank you for so many words of wisdom, peace, encouragement, and so much more.
I am retired for a few years now, but still feel the excitement, anxiousness and angst of a new school year for the many professional teachers and students entering the classroom.
Your words are not just words, but reminders of the awesome responsibility we as teachers have to uphold no matter what happens in this world. Our Lord and Savior reigns!
Thank you and may God continue to bless you as you bless others.
