SHE’S MINE
August 27, 2021

Prayer: Jesus, make this a condemnation and judgement free year of miracles in which all parents, students, and staff bear much fruit of your Spirit. Amen.

Scriptures: The teachers…brought in a woman caught in adultery…Jesus bent down and began to write on the ground…. John 8:3,6
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1

God is a gardener (John 15:1). The first seed He is planting this year in the garden of education is two words, “She’s Mine.”

Two thousand years ago Jesus found Himself watching a group of angry teachers verbally condemn and prepare to stone a woman caught in adultery. After encouraging the person without sin to throw the first stone, Jesus stooped down at the woman’s feet to write in the sand. As the teachers read what Jesus wrote, they left one by one until there were no more accusers. I always wondered what Jesus wrote. While in prayer, I believe the Lord revealed to me what He wrote that day. It was two words, “SHE’S MINE.”

This school year, when we observe and experience the sin of a parent, student or staff member, before we open our mouths to cast verbal stones, we must see Jesus writing at her/his feet, “SHE’S/HE’S MINE.” When we make mistakes, we must look down at our feet and there He will be writing the same thing for others to see, “SHE’S/HE’S MINE.”

Condemnation and judgement of parents, students, staff, board members, politicians and self are not allowed in our Father’s God’s gardens [schools]. These are spirits He will not tolerate. If we judge others, we will be judged (Matthew 7:1). Not one of us is sin-free (I John 1:8). When we point fingers at someone else, three other fingers are pointing back at us. Forgiveness and mercy at ALL times are at the top of Jesus’ lesson plans for us this school year.

Jesus is the vine and we are His branches (John 15:5). We belong to Him! God is tending us and every parent, student and staff member in His garden of education. We MUST stay grafted to Jesus in the classrooms and offices where we serve.

Let’s grow some miracles with Him in the garden of education! Whoever believes in Jesus will do the works He has done, and we will do even greater things because He has gone to the Father (John 14:12). Together, this school year, if we stay connected to Jesus, we’ll bear much fruit of His Spirit.

What role has condemnation and judgement (receiving and/or giving it) played in your life?
Treat students as if they were your most beloved personal children. Treat parents and staff members as if they were your most beloved brothers and sisters. Shield others from condemnation and judgement.
