Changing the World…One Person at a Time

“I am the Lord, I have called you in righteousness, I will also hold you by the hand and watch over you, and I will appoint you as a covenant to the people, as a light to the nations.” (Isaiah 42:6)

“I will make you a light of the nations so that My salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.” (Isaiah 49:6b)

These prophetic scriptures in Isaiah were speaking of Jesus’s coming into the world. He was appointed by the Father to be a light to the nations and to bring salvation to the ends of the earth. The message of the gospel, this good news that God loves the world and sent His son to save those who are lost, has now been entrusted to us. Rather than reach the nations, however, we have been called to touch the lives in front of us. In this way we can be a part of changing the world, one person at a time.
