Prayer: Dear Lord, May we always know the good work You have for us to do. We want to grow in the fruit of Your Spirit.
Scripture: May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation . . . for this will bring much glory and praise to God. Philippians 1:11 NLT
Are there ever days when you think that you really have nothing worthwhile to contribute to God’s work that stands before you? That is your enemy and God’s enemy seeking to undermine you. Remember, always that God’s Spirit is within you. Therefore, Godly fruit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Gal 5:22-23) is growing and maturing to ripeness. That makes you perfectly suited for God’s kingdom work.
“Lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other’s faults because of your love. Always keep yourselves united with the Holy Spirit and bind yourselves together with peace.” Ephesians 4:1-3 NLT
