Prayer: Lord, thank you that you made me yours because of who you are. Show me how to more accurately reflect who you are to my peers, students and in my family today.
Scripture: For the sake of his great name the Lord will not reject his people, because the Lord was pleased to make you his own. 1 Samuel 12:22 NIV
The Lord has set us aside as His people that we may worship His holy name. Christian educators in the public schools are brothers and sisters in the same family of God. Oh what a great heavenly family it will be, yet in the meantime we are His chosen people, His ambassadors in our schools. Dear Lord, please help us to be salt and light, love and mercy and all things that bring You honor and glory. Amen.
