PRAY IN THE MORNING

Prayer: Lord, thank you that whenever I show up to pursue you, you show up and promise that you will be found by me. Give me discipline to seek you each morning and pray for my students, expectant that you have good things in store for my campus.
Scripture: In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly. Psalm 5:3 NIV
Do you pray first thing in the morning? Is He your first thought? If not, experiment for the next 21 days by thanking Him the minute your eyes open. Praise Him with your first thoughts. Pray in the car as you come to school and pray the moment you arrive on campus. Pray when you walk down the hall. Pray when you enter your classroom or office. They tell us that it takes only 21 days to form a habit and this one is worth it because He hears your voice. It’s a promise.
