WHICH WAY
May 14, 2020

Prayer: My Lord and Savior, thank you for showing me the route to take. Thank you for paving the way. I will continue to lean on You for guidance. Amen.

Scripture: Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6 NKJV

Where are you going? More importantly, who’s leading you there? Each morning that you rise ask Jesus to go before you. Ask Him to direct your path in every area. It’s not trivial or paranoia to ask Him to lead everything. When you are on your way to work, ask Him which route is best. The enemy may have a trap waiting on you on a certain road. If you use public transportation, ask Jesus where to sit. There may be someone who needs to hear a word from you. Ask Jesus where to park when you’re going to the supermarket.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 instructs us to pray without cease. I remember when I was shopping for the dress I wanted to wear for my wedding reception. I kept trying on dress after dress and praying. I’m so thankful that I was in the store so long, because I didn’t know there was someone robbing people in the parking lot! By the time I was checking out, police had arrived.
I’ve been in situations when the Holy Spirit would lead me to take a different route to work. I’d find out later that a horrible accident occurred on my usual route. Jesus is full of infinite wisdom. Let’s let the wisest help us choose which way.

WOW, your devotion was timely in that I am going through a lot of issues right now but just to hear someone tell me to continue to TRUST in the LORD, how, by communicating with HIM on a daily, moment by moment basis. Thank you for your Words of Encouragement. Blessings
