DON’T GIVE UP
December 08, 2020

Prayer: Lord, I praise you that as I delight in who you are who uphold me and promise that you will not let me fall. Help me not to give up today, in the big things and the little ones help me to trust you and keep on in what you have called me to. Amen.

Scripture: The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. Psalm 37:23-24 NIV

So you had a bad day. Did you know that we all have those kind of days occasionally? Don’t give up. If your students did not respond the way you wanted today, tomorrow you get another chance. Don’t give up. If that lesson that you worked so hard to prepare was insufficient, you get an opportunity to fix it and do it better. Don’t give up. If you disciplined a student too harshly, let them know. Apologize and ask for forgiveness. Don’t give up. We serve a beautiful God Who will never let us go. He holds us up. He has promised to uphold us with His mighty hand. Don’t give up. You will be glad you persevered.

Quote for the Day: The strongest people are not those who show strength in front of us but those who win battles we know nothing about. Unknown author

Thank you for posting this. The struggles of this school year are like no other in my 22nd year in public school, and 9 in private schools.. I began this year as an e-Learning teacher, then hybrid, and yesterday I became 100% in person! brick &mortar. God bless us everyone, especially teachers, healthcare professionals, and first responders.
