FIRST CHOICE

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, You are the beginning and the end. Your wisdom is infinite. I humbly ask for You to fill me with Your wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen.
Scripture: Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. Proverbs 4:7 NKJV
We make numerous decisions every day. I have no idea how many decisions I make in an hour. We do not keep track of that. Sometimes, we make decisions without giving much thought. All our decisions have positive or negative consequences. There is one decision that is very heavy and has life changing consequences.
Will we choose to let Jesus lead our lives?
Jesus wants to be our first choice. We must want to submit to Him. He wants to guide us into the destiny He wrote for us. It is plainly written in Jeremiah 29: 11 “ For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jesus knows better than us what the best way is. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55: 8-9 NKJV).
If you are faced with making a tough decision concerning your students, your health, your family, or your career trust that Jesus can and will give you the answer. Choose to seek His infinite wisdom.
