JUST BECAUSE
December 04, 2020

Prayer: Heavenly Father, You are a gracious and merciful God. I worship You just because of who You are. I sing your praises just because of who You are. Thank you for Your divine protection over my life. In Jesus’s name, I pray, Amen.

Scripture: Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23 NKJV

I think it is safe to say that this year has not been predictable. There have been a lot of twists, turns, and jaw-dropping moments. Through it all, God has still been the same. He does not nor will He ever change. Hebrews 13:8 states, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Isn’t that comforting? It is very affirming and beyond comforting for me. To know that God is faithful, in control, and nothing can separate me from His love is the best feeling in the world. It is so beautifully recorded in Romans
8:38-39: “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

With all, whether you are standing before your students in your classroom or teaching virtually, God is still the same. He has gotten you through challenging times before now and He will do the same again. That is the awarding beauty of serving our faithful Father. Each day is new, and He is right there with you. You are loved.
