LET THE WORLD FADE OUT

This world is fading away… But if you do the will of God, you will live forever. 1 John 2:17 NLT
In the Scriptures we read of Jesus’ description about the world at the time of “the end”: the time when Christ will return and gather His body of believers while the Lord further deals with disbelieving humankind for a short few years. Though it has been a couple of thousand years, the recommendation is a sound one and has always been that. We need to be living our lives in the way that we would like Jesus to find us living them. Since He has given us the Holy Spirit to live within us – to change us into His nature, to guide and govern our priorities daily – then we can no longer live for self and for the world. We can be the Christ-like people of God this very day if we are willing to, by faith, permit His work of sanctifying grace daily.
Let us join together today in praying that the priorities of “the world” will fade out of our lives and the priorities of God will become paramount.
